Just last week, Princess Nokia stood front and center with a blood-covered grin in MADEME NYC ‘s AW17 campaign. In the past few weeks, the royal rapper has blessed us with 1992 Deluxe, a double feature music video of our high school dreams, and even a cup of hot soup for a racist troll on the L train. Now Nokia has made her second debut for the New York-based streetwear brand, modeling their latest assortment of 90s inspired looks.
And if it couldn’t get any better, the MADEME dropped an accompanying short film featuring the rapper singing her rendition of the George Michael classic “I’m Never Gonna Dance Again”. Created by Mayan Toledano and Orian Barki (who Nokia has worked with previous for her documentary short Destiny), this new campaign features our favorite Bronx emcee sporting Aaliyah-inspired duds in the motel of our wildest fantasies.
